Tuesday 9^th December 2008 - As previously reported here, Alton Towers put out a festive lifeline for many families dissapointed by their experience at Lapland New Forest near Bournemouth. The special free event open only to those with proof of entry to Lapland New Forest was limited to 1,500 people, and that number has already been reached, just a few days after the event was announced.

More festive events at the Alton Towers Resort that are open to all will be taking place throughout the festive period.
