Friday 12^th December 2008 - As previously reported here, Alton Towers recently placed the front Corkscrew ride car in a charity auction, giving one member of the public the chance to claim an historic piece of UK theme park memorabilia.

The auction was due to end at 10am on Thursday 11th December, but for some reason the listing on ebay was removed, it later appeared again with a new end date and time of Sunday 14th December at 2.30pm, with bids starting at £5,000.
