Wednesday 28^th January 2009 - Each year the Alton Towers Resort launches it's search for employees, to fill the huge amount of vacancies in time for the new season. Many previous employees will return from previous years, but there are many positions that require new candidates.

This year has seen an unprecidented amount of interest in the vacancies at the resort. With 870 jobs up for grabs, over 17,000 people have shown interest via the resorts online recruitment website, which handles all job applications, since the beginning of the year. Approximately half of the available positions have been filled, with the rest looking to be confirmed in the near future.

Candidates will be asked to attend one of the assessment days held regularly at the resort. With just over two weeks left until the February half term openings begin and a further six weeks until the main season opening, there is still time to apply for the remaining jobs.
