Rita Gets Re-Theme

Recent uploads to the Alton Towers Resort Flickr account have revealed that Rita will indeed be re-themed for next season. Sunday, 31st January, 2010 - Alton Towers have been using their Flickr account (http://www.flickr.com/photos/altontowersresort/) to deliver construction updates throughout the closed season and their latest 4 images show that Rita - Queen of Speed is set to be re-themed.

There has been much speculation as to how Rita would fit in with the new 'Dark Forest' theme which Thirteen will bring to the area, with rumours of the track being painted green. Whilst there's no sign of track painting, the station and entrance are certainly being transformed with a look that suggests the ride has been taken over by the dark forest.
